When we got there we took Andelyn swimming for the first time. She looked so stinkin' cute in her new little swimming suit, however, she wasn't so excited about it and definitely wouldn't let us take a picture, so this is the best we could do :) We did get her in the pool and she wasn't loving it at first. She had to make sure that she was holding our thumbs and I tell you what, that little 6 month old has a death grip! By the end she started kicking her little feet and Vagner almost got a little smile out of her.
That night we went to Freemont Street and it was something exciting for Vagner and Andelyn. We had woken Andelyn up at 6am to feed her so that we could be ready by 7 am. My mom rode with us in our car and Andelyn is not use to having someone in the back with her so it was all fun for her. Anyway, she didn't want to miss a thing that WHOLE day. She took only three little cat naps of 30 minutes or less and didn't settle down until midnight that night. She was so fascinated by all the lights and loved watching all the groups of different people. It was fun to see her so happy!
The next day my family went on to San Diego and Vagner and Andelyn and I stayed in Vegas for one more day. We decided to go to the wax museum and just hit all the big hotels on the strip.
We put Andelyn in the stroller and I kid you not, she giggled the whole time we were on the strip. It was so funny because every time a new group of people passed us she would just start laughing, and I don't mean a little giggle, I mean an all out kick your feet and arms pure laugh, she was smiling the whole time, it was so fun to just watch her. She is the happiest little baby! She did so good in the car too! We were nervous about that, but on the way home she slept just about the whole way and didn't even think about fussing until we got to Layton (pretty good for such a little one for such a long time)
......AND all of a sudden, my baby LOVES her binki!!! I have no idea what happened! She started to cry when she was tired one of the days and my parents said "just give her a binki," I confidently told them both you can try but she doesn't like it. Well she sure proved me wrong! She started sucking that binki like it was nobody's business and has loved it ever since. After all that hard work and NOW she starts wanting a binki?? Who knows. I honestly tried so hard since she was born, but I guess Andelyn had her own agenda. Hey whatever makes the little one happy :) I know this was kind of a long blog, it was just such a fun time to be with my family that I had to blog about it. But in the end I think it was Andelyn who had the most fun :)
