Celebrate!

This is how we celebrate getting our Visa, by going to Christ the Redeemer. For our interview we had to go to Rio de Janeiro and even though it was a pain to have to travel just so that someone could give us a piece of paper saying that we could finally go to the United States, it was worth it. Especially when you get have a view like this one!
See ya on Wednesday (by the way that is in 3 days)

ALRIGHT already!!!

Well as much as I LOVE to take pictures of myself, I understand that I need to take atleast a few while I am pregnant. And...since everyone is on my case to put some pregnant pictures on here, here you go, to everyone who wants to see my belly :) Andelyn is definitely growing fast, but atleast I can still see my toes.

Confirmed!!!

We had our regular monthly check up and our little girl is definitely on her way! We are so excited. The baby and I are doing great! We got another 10! We had the big ultra-sound and the doctor said everything is looking perfect and functioning just right. We got to see all of her little fingers and toes, heart, and she definitely has her daddy's nose. She's a little over a pound and the doctors were even a little surprised that she is EXACTLY at all of her target points even to the exact date. Woohoo! Andelyn sure moves a lot, but of course she never kicks when her dad is around.
What can ya do?

Our baby GIRL!!!!

Our Baby....

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!
We just found out that our baby is going to be a GIRL, and her daddy couldn't be happier! Our doctor told us that on a scale from 1-10 the baby and I are a 10 he said that we couldn't be more perfect than we are. So what more could we ask for? She was doing sommersaults in my belly during the ultra-sound, but the doctor got a clear shot and said there was no question. We are happy and excited to add yet ANOTHER girl to the Roberts' line. We're all about continuing family traditions! Congrats Grandpa Brett! Your next little girl is on the way!

It's never too late for the Lord

Well this weekend was a very wonderful and rewarding weekend! We had the opportunity to go to the South to see Vagner's mom get married and baptized. This is a day that we have been waiting for for so long.
When Vagner was first baptized in 2003 his mom told him she didn't want anything to do with the church and even told him that if he joined he would have to leave home. Well, even though he knew what he had to do it was very hard on him because he loved his mom. When Vagner decided to serve a mission the situation got even worse. With no support from his mom and being the only member in his family he went off to do the Lord's work. Vagner faithfully wrote his mom every week, in return he only received about 5 letters at the most. When he got home from his mission his two brothers and sister who were of baptism age were baptized. Yet, his mom was still not ready to be baptized, however, Vagner never left without hope. What a wonderful day it was when Vagner's mom called to say she was going to be baptized. I have never seen Vagner so excited. We of course knew we had to go to support her. On April 24th Vagner had the long awaited and wonderful opportunity to baptize his mom.
Like Nikki and grandma well put it, maybe there are reasons that visa's are delayed. I guess the Lord really does always know what he is doing!
